Attention all fetid, festered fekkers

This weekend will be the first of the year where temperatures are going to be anything like friendly to shut-in scooteristi. Please tell me we're going to ride on Sunday!

I'll be out, Audrey is getting her scoot registered and insured tomorrow. I've got all my new parts installed. I just need to spend some time on Saturday tuning my carb with this new exhaust.

If I can get my scoot up and running in time, I should be out. Need to get a few more rides on the Derbi before I sell it.

I will be out riding!

And on two wheels!!

But, I am teaching a bicycle course Sunday so it will be self-powered.

Enjoy!

I'm itching to get out! Anybody set a place and time yet? Wild Earth as before? 10:30-11ish?

On a side note, when the Italian Center in the West end opens we should check it out. They're supposed to be opening in June.

That works just fine for me, Nick, but I can also ride later if it suits more people. West end Wild Earth.

Too wimpy to brave the cool temperature. Have fun on you ride.

today's ride

That was fun, folks!

I noticed that you had to ride tilted slightly to the left, Audrey... I think your driveline is a bit tilted to the right (as seen at the top of the tire). John C., does this make sense?

And just think what fun we'll have when someone turns the thermostat up!

Which will be next week when I'll finally be able to join in.

A slight amount of tilt may not be unusual as the engine is offset by quite a bit in a large frame Vespa. A large amount would indicate something amiss like worn engine mounts or they're not just happy to see you, there is something (very heavy) in their pocket.
