Welcome to the forums folks
Welcome all.
As you can see the Crude City Scooter Club now has it very own forums. The forums here are hosted by yours truely (Kevin) on our very own server. Its all ours people.
If you can think of other stuff/things you would like to see on the server let me know and I'll see what i can do.
A few folks mentioned that the like the layout style of the Calgary club site, so over the next while I'll be playing around with the main site makeing it easier on the eyes.
Thanks
Kevin

Kevin,
Great Start! I love it that we have our own home now to chit-chat and share information. Thank you very much for starting this up, and I look forward to everyones ideas on how we can improve things and really make it the clubs.
One thing I would like to see is the ability to add avatars.
Will you be joining us on the toy run?
Cheers

Of course there are moderators. If you look at the Forum Index, the names of the moderators are listed.Daisy wrote:So does this forum have a Moderator or can I talk as dirty as I wanna?
now I have to figure out where to do my avatar
If you look up at the top of the screen you will find a link for your Profile
Near the the bottom of that screen will be the Avatar settings.
Excellent! I have my Avatar set up. Now we need an area that Pictures can be posted...........all though I was wondering if your OFFTOPIC, really means "off to pic" or "off topic"......don't make me think that hard! It hurts!
BTW Delia you are an Honourary Crude City Member.....I will have to show you the secret hand shake the next time you visit!

There is a Gallery already setup, but I'm thinking of changing it if it doesn't suit our needs. I posted my pictures from the Calgary and Vancouver Rallys in it already.Angelo wrote:Now we need an area that Pictures can be posted...........
Do you want an area where folks can post/host misc pictures or more of a gallery to host lots of pictures from an event?

Yes that is what I'm thinking, something that is easy to find, something that would be listed like you have listed the other topics. Man I must be blind, I can't find your pics anywhere!
Dooh!

if you goto the webpage http://www.crudecityscooterclub.com and look at the links on the bottom you will see a link to the Gallery
or
http://www.crudecityscooterclub.com/gallery/main.php
Trevor made an account, but i had some config errors and he couldn't really do anything but view pictures. I have now fixed it all up, and now registered users now should be able to host their own gallery for pictures.

ahhhhhhhhhhh........that's why I can't see it! I wasn't looking at the Crude City Scooter club page......I was looking in the actual forum under the general area that brings you to the topics! Is there anyway that we can set it up in this section? so that when your in the forum you don't have to go back and forth? Just curious....

What does AVATAR mean?
Perhaps it would be more intereseting to have a line that tells when we joined the CCSC (CRUDE CITY SCOOTER CLUB) or VCOC rather than when we joined the forum. This would also allow us to remember our membership dates as well.

Ruth,
An avatar is the picture that is posted beside your name. Some people get really creative and search the net to find the perfect one (like me ....hahaha) others chose from a gallery of pictures. If you check under your profile and scroll to the very bottom you will find that Kevin has set a gallery of Avatars to choose from, if you find one you like, claim it!
