P200E and Autolube

Post by Kevin »

Well,

I have started pulling scoots out of the garage. Lets get this P200 going first, since its closest to the door and kinda blocking everything else anyways.

Hmm, its been marking its spot since I brought it home last fall. Better find out where the leak is coming from. Plus give it a once over. After all its been sitting for 34 years.

Well, i found the source of the leak.

Bugger. The autolube sight glass is broken.

I wasn't sure how much oil was left in the system.

Looks like a bit was left. Such a mess.

I'm up to my elbows in Trevor's P200 this weekend. Terminal. We're bring the scoot and engine home for an overhaul. Loose head gave a lean mixture which fried the crank and piston.

We'll fix her up and then Trevor will come up for a weekend of riding before he takes it back to MJ.
