In search of a 60's Vespa

Post by joellejohnson »

Hi everyone! My name is Joelle Johnson and I am a wedding planner here in Edmonton (Hitched by Joelle). We are doing whats called a "styled wedding photoshoot" where we create what looks like a wedding without actually having one (hopefully that makes sense to everyone!). With each styled shoot we submit it to a famous publication of some sort with the intentions of being featured. Paul put me in touch with the Crude City Scooter Club because we are on the hunt for a white Vespa! Our photoshoot is taking place on July 5th, 2016 which is a Tuesday and we would absolutely welcome the owners to be on site of the shoot with us!

This is where you all have to bare with me a little because I haven't the slightest idea of what I'm talking about when it comes to these things! We would love to find a vintage Vespa (60's preferably but will not turn others away if they fit too!) in white, pink, navy, or yellow.

If you, or you know of anybody who might be interested and have a Vespa that we could borrow, please do not hesitate to call me on my cell at 780-679-8336, by email at info@hitchedbyjoelle.com or on Facebook. Thank you all in advance, I really appreciate it! Cheers

I assume you would also accept a white vintage Lambretta scooter? You can see images of them here:

One of our members may still have her modern pink Vespa. Image of it here:

I haven't seen her in awhile though so I am not sure if she still has it though.

She is @Luzzara on Twitter if you want to contact her.

for how long would you need the scooter?

If the scooter is riden to the photoshoot can the rider wait for it?

Thanks so much for all the responses so far!! MUCH APPRECIATED! Yes the Vintage White Lambretta would do just fine!

And I will definitely get in touch with Luzzara about her pink scooter.

We would need the vespa/scooter for the duration of the shoot which would probably be a couple hours and yes absolutely the owner could ride the scooter right to the shoot. That would be so awesome!

Bump.

Joelle is still looking for a vintage scooter for a photoshoot. She is looking for 60's model in white, yellow, or pink.

Reply to Joelle here is you think you have an appropriate scooter.
