out of province inspection blues..
I called argyll motor sports about an inspection the told me the bike would have to be stock no tuned exhaust no clear marker lights ,is this really the deal everywhere ?? Also no oil drips , if it drops one drop during the inspection it fails..
Trust me on this one. I got the same BS story, must have been the same yahoo. Do yourself a favor, go to Cycle works, they are a great bunch of guys. My expansion chamber exhaust wasn't brought into question once, in fact they had a great time reving the scoot in their shop.
I know that Argyll is a good shop, they just aren't that Sympathetic towards older bikes / scoots. I know that legislation has changed and they have to be tuffer, but there has to be a middle ground. I'm not sure about the marker lights. You might have to switch back to the amber lights for the OPI and then switch back again.

You could always slip the guy doing it a 50 or something as well. I bought one of the mechanics at the stealership for my car a 40 of crown for helping me out once, and now amazingly most of the work and parts I need fall completely under warranty. Even when it's obviously my fault that it breaks in the first place...
But I'd still say make bribery your last resort...
