The chap from Calgary dropped off the R17G yesterday at noon. Dropped the engine and tranny last night and the rest will be hauled to the crusher today. I am so pleased as it is exactly what I wanted: an early 807-13 engine with unrestricted ports and high compression pistons. Yipee!
It is too bad that the R17G had to die as it is a very straight and solid car.
It's a far far better thing...
