If Spain wins a world cup in the forest....does anybody care? I got a kick out some of the announcers complaining about the lack of excitement during this world cup.
Of course my first question was, "How could you tell" What happens when an intensely boring game becomes even more boring.
Best analogy of World Cup soccer. "It's like the Twilight movie series. A bunch of people run around for two hours, nobody wins and it's billions of fans whine that you just don't understand."

It will be great for Spanish national unity. In the past their national teams have struggled with players from the various regions refusing to cooperate with each other.
