New Bike

Post by DoesDerbiCount? »

So in the spirit of the season and the bike show. I just bought tonight my latest toy. A 2003 SV1000S making me the second owner with 6900 kms on the odometer. Don't worry guys I haven't forgotten my roots. I still have the Derbi, but this girl will take me on the highway a little bit better. Summer can't come soon enough!

Hey, I have a chainsaw and we can make four 250 singles out of that bike!

:-)

Congrats, a very well regarded sport touring bike. Should be more comfortable than your GS500. I look forward to seeing out this spring.

Hi Dan.

Nice set of wheels. The heart of a VStrom without the nasty wind buffetting.

John, you better look fast or you won't actually see Dan. Very very quick bike.

Keep the shiny side up.

Thanks guys! I appreciate the sentiment. I have a closet ambition to try to take enough time off to do the Trans Canada highway this summer. But we'll see.
And John, in this case it would be two 500 singles. I'm not an inline 4 fan too much myself. I love the torque and throaty sound of a twin. Always will. :D
