Anyone know this bike? At $4500, I'm not interested, but just wondered.

1981 Vespa Sport
This is my Vespa - and I looked at recent sales of the same scooter - to allot the price. I am willing to sell for less - but this bike is vintage and absolutely beautiful. The 260km are original and it has been stored inside and maintained for the entire time it has been owned. We know the complete history and are only the second owners of this Vespa.
The Vespa 100 Sport is not a rare, nor highly desirable, scooter like the Primavera, ET3 or 90SS -- just to name a few other smallframe Vespas. This is not to say you do not have a very nice scooter there, and the low mileage is a plus as well. $4500 will buy you a pretty nice, collectable scooter such as Jet 200, Rally 200, etc so I think you are $1K to $1.5K high. All that said, best of luck selling it. You could also post it on scoot.net as that is where most north american scooterists search for parts and scoots.

1981 Scooter
I appreciate the feedback - this has to go - so an idea of the price is welcomed. If anyone is interested pls let me know
We're not going to beat you up about the asking price cause we're a reasonably friendly group. If you can get that kind of money, you'd be extremely lucky. Just a caution, though. If you put it on scoot.net (a great idea, btw), expect some fairly blunt feedback from those on the site. They are very familiar with current prices and don't tend to pull their punches. Good luck with it.
Did you sell it
So i was just wondering if this bike has sold or not. The asking price did seem pretty steep for an 81 as i have a 65 and i paid 3 for it. But i am curious to know if you sold it and what you got for it
