Sunday 14 July lift install help
I am going to be installing my lift tomorrow morning at 10 A.M. I would be grateful for any available helping hands.
Hey John. How'd it go yesterday? I'm back from Calgary for a couple of days then gone again. Are you needing any extra hands today?

Alas, pride comes before the fall.
When they cut the phone conduit during excavation, they cut a pipe which fed through our foundation and into a storage room wall. Everything was fine until they pulled the old telephone wire out and fed the new wire in without sealing the pipe afterwards!
I discovered the water filled room this afternoon. Mops, cloths, fans to dry the room and a sump pump to drain the puddle where the pipe got cut and everything is now OKish. The contractor came out and shot foam sealer into the pipe from the inside and he will dig down to the other end of the pipe tomorrow and plug it properly.
So tonight we are going to settle down and relax by watching a real slosh-buckler, Waterworld!
Thanks again for your help!!
