Batteries - BatteryWorld West/North great place

Post by Macgyyver »

Just called Howard about a new battery for the LX150. Can't say enough great things about this service!

Here's how the conversation went.

Don't have one in stock, but there are 16 at the warehouse, can have it in 10 minutes if you're in a rush. Let me call and confirm and I'll get back to you in 5 minutes with a price.

Price: 47.50. Sharpened his pencil. Said if I'd gotten better prices elsewhere he'd look at it again. SRP, well, he says, $70. But I don't go by that, I do it the old-fashioned way. Calculate what I need for margin, and price it that way.

Ready today if you can be here by 5:30, or anytime tomorrow. I'll put your name on it. No, don't need a deposit.

I'm giving them 2 thumbs up. I'll use them again anytime.
