The spark plug broke off in the boot again, and it was stalling at stop lights and a few slower corners. I put fresh premium in it as per Kelownas suggestion but it didn't help much if any. Taking it to Top Gear tomorrow as it needs servicing anyways.
Sadness Modrey. I feel your pain. My scoot still won't start, although it almost started a few times this weekend. It would catch and die very quickly. After a talk with Ron and Torrie, it was decided that it probably wasn't the spark plug (apparently to get to the spark plug in my scoot is a real pain) and something to do with the amount of gas the scoot is getting. Sooo I've tried what they suggested (i.e. giving it some gas before starting) with no luck and a lot of frustration. I'll give it another go tomorrow and see what happens.

Thanks John that would be great! At this point I have no love for my scooter.
I will warn you that Ron told me that the spark plug is awkward to get at. (You have to get at it by going under the side panel.) When the bikes are in his shop he usually drops the engine out to change the spark plug. He also mentioned that you needed the right tools to get at it??? (I could be wrong about this quote as I was poking around the side panel trying to find the wire and plug he was talking about. Still haven't located it.)
I also haven't been able to locate the right spark plug. I've tried Canadian Tire, Princess Auto and Argyll Motorsports. I'll swing by Top Gear on Tuesday and see if they have one in stock. If so, I'm free any night this week or weekend except for Thursday. Thursday is "Meet The Creature Night". I can be home by 3, if I know ahead of time. I'm also not far from your work (about a 5 minute drive).
Thanks for offering to help.

after all these years you still doubt the scooter god? Believe me John has shown me so many different ways to do things when I thought all hope was lost.... my money is on John no matter the odds!

After replenishing our stores, we will be riding up to St. Albert in search of Trevor's mythical, amazing roads. Hopefully this will also be the start of mapping out Saturday's ride for the rally.
Please do tell how the ride and expedition turned out today? what a beautiful day. Believe me I was with you guys in spirit. I only saw the light of day for a few hrs, the rest of the time was spent watching bouncing happy dancers! But my gals got 4 High gold metals so I'm a proud papa...

Both Canadian Tire and Argyll check in their computer to see if they carry it and they don't. Argyll checked with their supplier and they don't carry it either. I know Top Gear does/or should as they replaced the spark plug 2 years ago when it was in for service before and during the Calgary rally.

That's amazing about the plugs! I think I spent most of Saturday driving around to find one.
As for the manual, no link or at least none that I could find. I do have my manual, but there is no mention of any tools other than the ones in the kit I got. I'll scan the pages when I get home and post it for you.
