Not an expansion chamber by any stretch of the imagination. Still, must be better than the stock exhaust as anything is better than that! Probably the same as a stock exhaust gutted and not much more.
I'll give it a go regardless. Wait a minute, maybe I can fabricate a proper...

Mounted now. Modified it to a slip, spring retained joint. It's all much lighter than the stock exhaust. Good thing as I am using an alloy top end.

Just the throttle cable to hook up now and it's mechanically done. Once the tank's back, it's a go.
