We are moving to Spruce Grove

Post by Rick »

Not to steal any thunder from Christine just wanted to let everyone know we are moving to Spruce Grove in the next month. This really makes we re-consider my scooter situation. The Vino 125 just can't hack the Highway speeds and well the Lambretta no sense mentioning it. I've been racking my brain as to what to do with my bikes, sell em, keep em, keep one, add some HP to the Vino??? You guys got any ideas, I hate the idea of moving up Bike size, I'm not crazy about the 250 Vespa either. I'd like to keep Lambretta for putting around town but it would be a real pain to ride in every week. I thought I could maybe pick up a Royal Enfield next spring from Top Gear, love the classic look of that bike Any thoughts.
Thanks

Thank goodness you're not moving far -- still waiting in parts for the D BTW. Road test an RE first. I know they are a 500 but they are not very fast: 90 to 100 cruising speed I think. A 150 cc scooter would do the trick. Honda has a nice one and Top Gear usually has some as well that aren't Vespas.

Thanks for the tips, I will definetly test drive the RE before buying, I just love the style of that bike it's classic look. I still would like to fix up the 150 LD this winter. I guess I'll have to look around for some new 150's.

On that note any wanna buy a custom Vino 125, very well maintained with low KM's ???
