Our club's first theme scoot

Post by jbcollier »

After months of hinting and prodding, it has become patently obvious that no one is going to step forward and build a theme scoot. I have, therefore, in the interest of the furtherance of our club's ideals, and in the spirit of oneupmanship, decided to redo Orange Crushed as a theme scoot.

No, I won't make you wait, dying to know for months on end until it is complete. Though I will go on and on and reveal the torture my soul went through in making the decision.

I struggled long and hard with what theme would be appropriate: sleepless nights, Chinotto pushed away as I writhed with indecision. Finally, I let my mentors guide me and I asked my self:

What would Angelo do?

What would Trevor do?

What's Graham probably doing right now?

Etc, etc...

So after a long time and a great deal of thought...

I have decided to do a tribute to Sporty Spice.

I was afraid of that; that makes it a perv tribute: your scoot is older than she is and you're older than both of them!

Fever

Post by Andrew »

Hang on--this is the fever speaking, right? Or is it a case of Saturday Night Fever? Some of us here are old enough to know what I'm talking about; and Melanie Chisholm was three years old when that film was released...

John must have a rich fantasy life, resplendent with post-pubescent girl bands, teenage angst and eating disorders. Yum yum. Did I mention its sunny and 19 in Toronto? Enough of the ragging. What form does this deviant apotheosis take in your mind's eye John?

OK

Forget trying to make you all happy. I'm going with my all time favourite girl group: Shonen Knife
