maintenance options
Anyone got any options (other than Top Gear) for servicing my 2006 Derbi Boulevard?

Easily .... so I've been told and figured out on my own. I have a 2006 Derbi Boulevard and fixed a fuel leak last year on my own without a manual. I'm sure with a manual life would be a lot easier.Scooter Fairy wrote:As a 58 year old woman with little mechanical experience ( but an openness to new challenges), do you really think I could figure some of this out myself? If you are still worried about the maintenance, Top Gear did the 6000k service on my scoot. (I know that you wanted to use someone other than Top Gear, but the service was good and the bike runs well, just be sure to tell them what you need and speak to someone who knows what they are doing. The receptionist booked my bike for a 1/2 service when really it needed a 3 hour service. Lesson learned ask to speak to Chris the mechanic and he will ensure that the bike is booked for the right service.

Chris is working EXTREMELY limited hours at TopGear now though. I'm not sure the name of the other mechanic they have there now. He did an oil change and all on my GTS this spring. Nothing has fallen apart yet, so...I'm assuming it was decent enough.
Don't worry about asking dumb questions around here though. I personally have prepped every member of the club for dumb questions. They're well practiced because of me.
