Email has been sent as there was no contact number. I'll let you know as soon as I hear from him John.

Andrew, you don't happen to have a number for him do you?

Hey John,

I guess I'm not persistent enough. I haven't heard back from the seller yet, so can we reschedule for another date once I hear back from him?

His name is Chris; tell him I sent you so he is not too freaked out that you have his cell number. Turns out that I do still have his number on my phone, Shannon!

Yikes Andrew!

I have a glass container of yours and you're about to leave for warmer climes. Tell your wife to call off the bounty hunters. I'll drop it off this afternoon.

Or, I am I too late already.

Nope, still here till next Tuesday,

Just scored a 2009 GSXR 600 w.only 10K, minus wheels and disks, for $900. Poor kid thought he'd make more $$ parting it... then discovered that you can't sell a bike without wheels. Paid for it today and heard it run--started liker a charm even at -9. It will make a great naked in spring!

The only problem is how to pick it ip before I leave. I have access to a trailer, but I need three more guys to move the bike since it has no wheels--

Any volunteers for a quick run to the west end on Saturday or Sunday?

Just heard back from Chris about the 90. He is in Toronto until tomorrow and will call when he gets back. I was going to suggest Saturday, but I see that Andrew needs help with his bike. :)

John let me know what works for you. I'm free this weekend and next week.

Thanks folks! I'm looking to borrow some 17" sportbike wheels (thick axles) to roll the Gixxer...

Looks like Saturday is the day--11:00 or so?

Shannon and I went to have a look at the Spruce Grove 90. For starters, it is actually a 50. Vintage 50s are not fast so it would need an engine overhaul with major parts replaced to get it up to speed. It's a late seventies scoot so it would also have to have signals. Yes, an OPI is required as it has never been registered in Alberta. The proper headset is gone and an older one in put its place. It has been painted enthusiastically. It looks OK but it is a thick coat so it may be hiding wreck and ruin. Worse, the repaint has complete obliterated the serial number making an OPI impossible without uncovering it somehow.

All in all, an acceptable $800 to $1000 scoot. $1800? Forget it.

Thanks John for all your help. It is definitely a "project" bike.
