Now that we're all wearing our 'full metal jackets', how's the parking say, around 98 Street and 91 Avenue?

Not bad--there's lots of street parking weekends on both sides of the street on 91 Ave.

Bike fetching

Post by Andrew »

The bike fetching party starts at my house at 1:00. I have two poles to use to lift the bike (one guy on each side) if necessary. I have a 19" front wheel (no disk) and a piece of metal for a dummy axle--if we take the front fender off, we might be able to mount the wheel so we can carry the back end and roll the front. Anyone have a smaller front wheel?

I have borrowed a trailer and our wagon has a hitch too--whichever works best for the number of people who show up!

I have one excellent hand and one which has, today, been 'improved' by an injection of cortesone. What I lack in manual dexterity, I make up for in enthusiasm for the 'bike snatch'. (You DID pay for it didn't you?

Paid for

Post by Andrew »

Oh yes. I even have a handy-dandy hand-written bill of sale. Well--sort of paid for it: a fraction of what it's worth...

hitch

Four will fit in my wagon--that should be enough. I have a 1 7/8 ball on a Class 3 tongue if we decide to change vehicles.

Success!

Operation Paint Can went off without a hitch--thanks to Graeme, David -- and Redbike John for coming out!

Di you know how useful empty paint cans could be? Or how many uses they have? They work amazingly well in place of, say, sportbike wheels...
