Anyone ordering from SIP?

Post by redbike »

If anyone is planning on an order from SIP, could you let me know. I'd like to order a zoomy Stadium legshield-based device for backward looking.

I may have an item or two I'd like to get. What is the minimum $ for an order?

Don't know about a minimum order, it's the shipping you want to maximize on. Item number 61384100 - clamp on Stadium left side mirror. $86.91 Shipping looks to be about 22.00 for one Kilogram via FedEx. Catalogue says weight for mirror is 350 grams, so there's some room to play with. What are you looking for?

I'm putting an order in with them in the next couple of weeks. I'm ordering some tires, an exhaust, levers, and possibly a new clutch. I've gotta take some things apart first to make sure I don't need anything else.

So that's three people who are intending to place an order. Is there any interest in combining these into one order to save on shipping?

I'm just not sure when I'm going to place my order is the only thing. I need to look at a few things on my scoot before I finalize my order. The shipping isn't that bad if you go with Fedex. They're really fast too.

Oh, the mirror is a 'wanna' not a 'needa'. I can certainly wait a bit.

I was looking at the gas cans they have available. What's the advantage over something available locally?

Just the size (2L) and quality. I've never seen anything that size locally (but, I haven't looked too hard
)

Maybe someone else has??

dont over look the MSR camping type bottles, they work great as long as you don't over fill them. Should have fill lines.

they got the good o rings that don't expand and degrade with the fuel.

Yup, just make sure you mark it as a fuel container. More than one un-happy camper has taken a swig of their water jug only to get a mouthful of white gas!

I am going to be ordering a set of the new Pinasco tubeless rims but they are not yet available for love nor money

Snow all gone yet?
