Are the front dampers offere by ScootRS...

The Escorts? The picture makes them look a bit beefier than the OEM slim line ones, but its hard to tell. And if anyone has ordered them, are they priced per pair? Again, the site is not very clear on this. Thanks in advance!

Usually they are sold in pairs, and yes they are beefier

They all work about the same unless you drop the big bucks and get the BGM ones or adapt some motorcycle steering dampeners. If you're looking to upgrade your suspension, changing out the stock fork springs to progressive springs will help more than the dampeners.

not sure if they would be escorts as ScootRS does there own things there own way, some have had sucess but I don't care for their stuff. I agree that progressive springs are a good upgrade. I can't tell you if changing those alone is what you after. I have done both at the same time so I don't have a comparison with and without. I have both Escorts and BGM dampers, I love the BGM's but they are 3 times or more the cost of the escorts. to each his own. I know you have a damper that has given up the ghost so need to replace. Looks like you want to keep the stock appearance so BGM is probably not the way you want to go...

All great advice and thanks. Not really looking to go BGM prices right now, but I am interested in upgrading to Escorts. Who sells them? My existing slim lines are toast and need replacement ASAP.
