scooter workshop?

Post by Andrew »

Any appetite (time) for a rainy-weekend scooter workshop? I need to replace the swingarm bushing on my new Elite (along with front shocks, air cleaner, final drive oil, etc.). Oil change done already. I have all the parts--

Sorry, it's off. A wee bit of a medical emergency has come up in Janet's family and I'm tied up from 3 on. I'll arrange something for a week night later this week instead.

Sorry!

Wild and wooly is the only way to describe it but thank goodness it's over. Buy me a drink sometime and I'll tell you the story -- guaranteed to curl the hair on your toes!

Nothing like a family emergency for excitement. Glad to hear it's over. It was kind of wet to be riding much today anyway. You're on for the drink whenever you like--

Re: Anyone have or know of a good welder?

DaelimRacer wrote:So I got a call back from the out of province inspection people and there is a crack in the frame. The crack is small and mostly of a cosmetic nature but it is sufficient that they must ding me to fix it. Sadly, they don't want to do it as well i guess they are busy enough.

So as I am not from here I ask does anyone know of a good welder and or does anyone have the technical know how to take on such a project with my help of course? I would be willing to help out either financially or in whatever other ways possible.
you posted a thread already with your question. You don't have to highjack every thread! If some one can help with your question they will and post an answer on your original thread... Geez
