I picked up this vintage road bike in Calgary over the weekend. It's a Benotto Modelo 850 frame with mostly Shimano 600 components, a Dura Ace rear dérailleur, Ultegra wheelset. All that for 200 dollars. I know that the Benotto name got a bit of smack for the later Mexico years but it seems solid enough. This bike was used as a commuter for 20-30 years, so it's earned its stripes. And is quite fast.

Although not strictly for me (my dad wanted one after he rode mine), it's still pretty awesome. It's a Ciocc TT bike with Shimano 600 components. All Italian this one, Columbus steel. It's got a 650 for a front wheel and a 700 for the back. Rides nice.
