Well, here's a head shaker.

First the good news:
I finally took delivery of my new scoot today. A 2005 PX150 #176 of 350

Now the bad news
On it's maiden scoot about town, I stopped at Safeway and came out to find my scoot on its side. Some girl drove her SUV into it and knocked it over. Dented, scratched up cowl, some minor scrapes on the leg sheild bead, and the end of the grip on the trottle is scraped. The steering is out of alignment slightly as well.

This on top of Blackfoot Motorsports losing the scooter for a week after they recieved it!

I think I may have angered the scooter gods at some point (probably from driving a P styled 4 stroke )

But hey...at least I got a scoot...such as it is

Edit: Can anyone tell me how to get a hold of Daaren? I might have some work for him if he has time.

Did the driver stick around and give you contact/insurance info? Please, not a hit and run !

The steering is a simple job. Where the headset necks down, right near the leg shield, there is a recess with a 13 mm bolt head on the rear, right-hand side. Loosen and then twist the bars back into alignment. Tighten to the a similar torque as it took to loosen it. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN (one for the money, two for the show, three to get ready and four... uh oh) as the headset can crack.

The driver did stick around and I took all her info. Glad that she had the decency to stick around.

Thanks for the info on straightening the headset. I'll do that tomorrow once it's light out. I'll have to practice the art of subtlety as I am notorious for over tightening everything.
