Saturday April 30
Bored? Lonely? Fidgety hands?
This Saturday, starting at noon, I have a couple of scoots requiring repair and would be delighted for any help or advice.
First scoot: Lee and Mary's 100 Sport. We're doing a top end and it needs to be gone over for an OPI.
Second scoot: Ted Bishop's Viet-Bodge Vespa 150. Need to go through it to make sure it's safe and get it running (drain old fuel, clean out carb, etc.).
Cheers

Had to do a clutch on Lee's so no ride for me. Corks were toast but I had my old ones back from when Crushed was actually a 100 Sport so it was pretty straight forward.
You'll all be pleased to know that Mr Pak's LX50 is up and running again. I topped up the tank, added Sea Foam, road tested it delivered it home. Thanks for your help.
Thanks also for getting Ted's up and running. Started well this afternoon. I refit the spare tire holder/rear seat frame but now I can't find the rubber trim for engine side cowling. Anyone notice it when we were cleaning up?

While all's well that ends well I have to say that our fix-a-thon didn't end well. I lost it at the end and I wish to apologise to anyone who, quite rightly, took offence. All the scooter repairs were ably handled, and all were running, or close to, at the end. I'm very grateful for all your help, and, even more so, for your friendship.
Till we meet again...
