Friday 12th/Saturday 13th/Sunday 14th Covid Mini Rally

Post by jbcollier »

Isolation and social distancing are driving me crazy

I'm going to organize three rides for the up-coming weekend. One will be a long ride out into the country. Details to follow. Suggestions welcome!

Watch this thread for details... and pray to the weather gods for mercy.

PS: On Saturday's ride a jacket with a collar and a helmet with a face shield would be good ideas. There are bugs about and I took one to the face while reconnoitring, ouch!

Maybe bring some water. Our first stop is at a lake with no services.

I just wanted to say how much all of you made me smile this evening. I was reading on my balcony when I saw the group scoot right by my place in Riverdale. You guys looked great.

Ugh. I just saw this today. Sadly, there has been no scootering for me since Covid, online teaching and finishing my Master level class at the U of A. I've become one with my computer over the last few months.

However, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Once I'm done my move to my new school next week I am free and clear of all work related duties and only have one paper left to write. That means I can get Tiki out of winter storage and I can scooter to my heart's content . I might even join in on some rides.

John, I completely forgot about the luggage hook. How many millions do I owe you?

Don't worry, I had forgotten about it as well. If you need help with Tiki let me know. Scooter rides are the best stress-relief therapy.
