rode my first lammy today.... had to put it together ... ron was uber excited to see her out on the road as well... a few more things to sort out like lights and such then she will go to a good home..

I guess that squares it. Lambretta didn't die a slow and painful death because they made an inferior or unreliable product. The company folded like a cheap suit because their marketing guys were smoking the 70s equivalent of crack. (John, little help here, what would that have been

Is it coincidence that you can pull Beta (as in sony betamax) out of the lambretta name. Good product, moron marketing.

Yes I can't argue the fact that their marketing was...well....interesting to say the least. Many great machines throughout history died a slow death, but also like many great machines Lambretta's left their mark......

you bet we stripped it off the other lammy he has there as a new one is on order so far i got to figure out the head light and taillight but seems the wiring is all there and in good shape and we have a diagram to follow as well so i think i may have her done on saturday..
