I guess all my complaining about cold hands finally paid off. I got heated handgrips for my birthday. The handgrips I was given, when installed can be removed when not in use. (The actual grips just velcro around your existing handgrips.) Here is the link to the handgrips: http://www.oxprod.com/index.php?pg=3&ac ... pid=175&p=
Now the challenge is to see if they will work on my scoot and get them installed. I have the wiring instructions, but not being mechanically inclined, it's like reading in another language. Help!
Unfortuneately the link does not have the wiring instructions on it. If anyone wants to see the instructions, let me know and I will scan them and email them to you.

Thanks John. I've sent the instructions via email. The scoot is sleeping nicely for the winter so I'm looking at a spring installation of the hand grips. I just need to know if they will work on my scoot or if I have to return them before my window to return them runs out.
Torrie, I know I know.

I have been riding around with my heated grips and what not and I think heated gloves would be the best way to go. A little more awkward, true, but I am finding my finger tips getting cold even though my palms are warm.
Perhaps we could combine grips with hand shields if you would still like to go the grip way. Heated grips are a lot less hassle than having to plug yourself in.
I'm taking your suggestion and exchanging the grips for the ones you sent the link for. I think I'm still going to stay with the grips as they were a gift, but I might consider handshields. (Just as long as it's not a top case. ) I'll have to check to see if Debri makes handshields.
Thanks for all the help. I'm looking forward to the spring and warm hands.
