Danny Walker, long time member of Apocalypse and friend to many of us, has been in the foothills hospital all week. He has some sort of infection in his liver and is expected to be in hospital for another 10 days. He is even grumpier than normal but I think he would appreciate a visit if anyone can spare the time. Because it is a liver issue edible gifts are probably your best way to really piss him off right now. If any one wants messages passing on I'll be seeing him on Saturday and Monday

Hey Noel,
Sad to hear anyone in that kind of a position. What does Danny Ride? I'm just terrible with names, but pretty good with Faces....

Please send my best for a speedy recovery!
Cheers

Danny used to work for Vespa Calgary, so he rode what ever he could steal. Last scooter he was seen on was my grey PX wwhich he drove into a wall and broke his ankle. Ask Vancouver's Kahoona if it was funny. He has been lucky enough to see many of Calgary's more exotic riding styles and claims a rally aint a rally 'til Calgary crashes

Danny is still in the hospital. He doesn't seem to be getting any better and now has 2 cysts on his liver, fluid on his lungs and a blockage in his bowels. To add insult to injury his critical health insurance only covers heart attack or cancer. He has a new house and a new baby. We would like to do something for him and his family and are asking for your help. We will be holding a fundraiser on Sunday Feb 17th all details to follow in the next day or so.
Please pass the word far and wide.

That's too bad about Danny. He is lucky to have someone like looking out for him. Post the details when you have them and I'll see what I can do about a trip to Calgary.

We were thinking of having the fundraiser at a bar but because we are trying to maximize what we can give to Danny, Mel and the family , something a bit more intimate is more suitable. So the fundraiser will be held at Allison's and my house on Sunday, February 17th from 4 - 8pm. For a bit of fun and entertainment Dj NYX will have turntables set up in the basement. There will be a few munchies but please bring anything that you may want to drink. We will be collecting money then.If you are unable to attend but would like to make a contribution you can either send it to Noel and Allison and we will add it to the lump sum. Please PM me for an address and directions if needed. For those of you who do not know us and may feel uncomfortable coming to our house, please don't we would love to meet you.
Thanks for showing your support and we look forward to seeing you on Sunday
