Toy run

Post by LibertineAudrey »

When is the Toy Run this year, and is the club making an appearance at it?

Cheers

I'm out of town for that weekend, but I'm trying to work it so that I'm back in E-ville for the toy run before heading back to the Armpit.

So I guess, I'm a definite maybe.

I love the idea, and admire the goal of raising money for kids at xmas, but frankly, the notion of riding my bike with 3,500 people I don't know from Adam leaves me cold.

Missed last year but we have started doing our own ride with the same start and end points as the Toy Run but without the 3500 fellow riders nightmare in the middle. Anyone who wants is welcome to join the main ride.

Zounds OK?

Yes, Modrey and a few others talked about this today. I say we all meet for coffee at Tra Amici, move on to the rally point, pick our own route, meet at the park for the drop off and disperse after that. 3 years running I have had the same feeling that Johnny speaks of in my stomach, not fun!

ride

I'm down for the ride for a group of us, getting mixed up in all the other bikes is brutal.

I have to agree about riding with the bikes .... if it wasn't for Dan, I would have been a red crumpled mess on the side of the road. I was happy to have him ride beside me with his bike, even though he really should have brought his scoot.
