I am not Crushed tonight. My son is coming along so that means the bug smeared BMW is my ride.

Sigh.

Nice evening, good root beer and a great conversation with Angelo -- anyone know what cafe bike is in the opening scenes of Black Rain?

BUT

It's just us!

Now don't get me wrong, I enjoy Angelo's company (and he is good at least at pretending to enjoy mine) but, it would be nice to have a wee bit of variation now and then.

Anyone in for next week? I'll buy ice cream!!

I'm game for next week even without the ice cream. Let me know the details and I will post it on the Crude City facebook page too.

I would love to come, and I'm disappointed that I haven't been to anything scooter related in ages... but unfortunately I'm still broken. If I'm healed up before the end of the season enough to ride, I'll be sure to make it out to a bike night.

I can't leave you guys alone for 5 minutes can I before you all start crashing your bikes, Shannon, and getting hurt so you can't ride, Modrey and John Redbike.

Don't make me come back there. :)

Put 60 k on the ET today driving back and forth to the dealer to get a VIN verification done. Still don't have much by way of top end (95kph) but that could be because of the hills. Pops and blasts away when I come to a stop so I am testing out that old "Loud pipes save lives" song that the harley scoggins throw around.

Yesterdays adventure had me failing to get the vin verified because the dealer was looking at the frame number vs the actual vin. The two are very close but not the same, therefore, no paperwork and I am driving an apparently stolen and illegally imported bike.

So, decision time. Park the vespa and buy a new one (actually an old one but new to me) ....clicky.... or try to find out what the deal was on the vin. My wallet grumbled at me so I got the vin thing figured out. Damn wallet.

Anyways, ride safer kids and talk to you later.

Funny. Your name came up a few times last nite so you must have been feeling the vibes. You are missed believe it or not  .....

...I already had a dream of a road trip to retreive that stolen ET, It was in my Garage, but upon inspection I found that you had dooped me! and the Fricken Pipe was a budweiser Can covered in foil! Bastard!....fortuneatly I woke from my twist and go dream  and everything was ok.

I can't believe that I'm saying this, but living where you do, I would stay away from the vintage. I know that there are a ton in Denver, but I would venture a guess that those are kept for city riding..

Cheers
Angelo

P.S I'm not surprised about the VIN number problem. Lets face it lately the americans aren't very good with numbers in general.

Here's a two-birds-one-stone idea...

We'll set up a little ramp, I'll lie underneath it and Shannon will attempt to jump me on her scooter. Either we'll pull off an awesome stunt, or both end up hurting ourselves, it's win-win!

Aye?
