Bike Night Sept 23

Post by jbcollier »

Could be the last (hot) bike night of the year!

31° C !!

It all happens Wednesday evening at the PetroCanada gas station at 16435 97 Street starting at approximately 6:30 pm and running until 9 or so. They have a small A&W drive through attached.

Mostly cruisers show up but they are a decent bunch who at worst find our scooters amusing. Typically there are two to three scoots, sometime more if we get a good turn out.

I pretty sure the family will be coming along so I'll be on the tug. If they don't come I'll bring Crushed.

Cool, thanks for the info. I'll try to make it out there on wednesday. Do you guys only meet on every second sunday of each month or do you meet every week at Tra Amici?

It's still set up for every Sunday ( Summer hrs ) until the weather holds up. In november we revert to Winter hrs which means that we meet as a club once per month (the 2nd Sunday of the month) but If you post on the forum and want to meet socially their are usually a few that are craving some ribber sandwitches at Tra Amici at any given time...

Just a heads up, if you want a ribber, you have to arrive prior to Angelo. Despite the fact that he has gotten all slim and healthy he has still been know to buy the last 2 or 3 all for himself. Actually he does it just to see the sad faces as he eats one and takes the others home for late night snacks.

Don't believe me? Ask John. :)

i think i'm gonna flake out on bike night, it's too long of a ride ( i live close to ellerslie ) and i don;t want to be stopped by the cops every 3-4 blocks to see if what i'm riding is legal.

Hey John,

I think you show up there too often. A few people thought i was you. Laughs were had thinking you downgraded your ride.

A few are looking forward to see the scoots at the Toy run Sunday. I hope to be back in town, it would be nice to have a season wind down with ya'll again.

It was good to see you Kevin and Once Over Lightly is not a down grade! I'm honoured they thought a fine looking fella like you was me. If I hadn't had the family, I would have stayed longer.

The good news is that Janet once again enjoyed the ride and I may, though not soon, get to have her on the back while touring! Something to look forward to in my decrepitude.

Cheers!
