Sunday April 11

Post by jbcollier »

This Sunday, April 11, at 1 pm, we will be meeting at Zucchero Cappuccino Bar & Panini Grill which is located at 8336-160 Avenue.

After replenishing our stores, we will be riding up to St. Albert in search of Trevor's mythical, amazing roads. Hopefully this will also be the start of mapping out Saturday's ride for the rally.

So far, knock on wood, the weather looks good.

yah.....they are forecasting 2 degree's as a high. Might be more fun for the exploration trip if we wait 1 week? Since it will end up being a looooong ride!

It's up to 4°C now. Heck, I may have to wear shorts.

:-)

Maybe we could just check out the place and do the reconnoitring ride when it warms up.

What do you all think?

Practically balmy out there!

Drink offer still stands.

Mind the gravel.

Street clean up has started. Started with them cleaning the gravelled verges onto the road!

Watch those blind corners and keep looking ahead.

Damn! That was cold on the way out. Coming back was great until I hit the oil or antifreeze dumped on the corner approach of the Groat Rd bridge. I kept it upright, twixt the concrete barriers and didn't hit any vehicles in the opposing lane.

I killed a reply post last night that was going to berate you for not riding in the cold. I have been riding to work this week (25 miles) at 1-4 C and telling my co-workers to toughen up.

Ultimately, good on you for putting 2 wheels on the road and braving the early season conditions and better on you for keeping those wheels on the ground when you hit that petrol patch John.

Spread the scooter love gang and keep that shiny side up.
