Tank's

Post by jbcollier »

The tank's in and I no longer need Graham to run alongside. I rode it up and down my road and it's rich in the top end. Yes! A good thing as at least I am not hurting the engine while I break it in.

Two things I know for sure, it's not fast and the exhaust sucks big time. No worse than the stock exhaust but certainly no better either. I'll finally have to look up Igor's pipe building friend and have him build one like this:

Too modern? What do you think. About the pipe, not the blintzed out Chromebretta.

It goes for it's OPI on Monday and I'll be riding it to Tra Amici next Sunday; add a smidgeon of luck, with the Pav as well.

I say go for it, that pipe looks the biz.

If there is anyone that can make you a nice pipe is Neil at Neils power pipes. Super nice guy and so talented and he has his own Dyno. Good luck with the OPI I'm sure it will go well.

Cheers

Thanks Kevin,

The six inch tire is for the club's PAv knock-off that I have donated. Right now I am in the middle of patching a few things up before work can begin in earnest. Who carries those tires?

Coker tire makes a 600-6

I'm pretty sure this is a common size in the Aircraft world too, not sure if they are road legal though.
