Sunday April 17
Meet at Tra Amici, 1 pm. I am riding the D!
Great to see everyone! Especially nice to see Graham's Lambretta back on the road.
I think next weekend will actually be WARM. Hope to see more out then. Perhaps we could go for a ride beforehand?
Definitely a wee bit of sorting to do on the D:
- 30 to 35 mph tops with James and me on board. And not very quick getting there.
- Still too rich in the top end -- dropped the jet to 108 from 110 -- but maybe too lean in the mid range.
- Hell of a big jump from second to third. Anyone have a four speed box to hand ;-) ?
- Shifts like a dream.
- Whiny rear end: probably normal.
- Very, very comfortable ride: softly sprung with the new dampers working as advertised.
- Low beam blew, there may be a regulator issue or perhaps I handled the bulb a little roughly.
- I am starting to get a hang on firing it up from cold; like me, it needs a good tickle to get going.
Everything considered, I'm very happy with it.

Just a little too much information....jbcollier wrote: I am starting to get a hang on firing it up from cold; like me, it needs a good tickle to get going.

All the rest seems normal when sorting a newly rebuild scoot and being a Lambretta... Glad your happy
Cheers
