Bad news for all you wannabe Boy and Girl racers

Post by jbcollier »

I finally got around to putting on the Hammerzombie exhaust I picked up last year (Thanks again Jae!). I still have to sort out a few things to get the LH door back on and re-relocate the battery. However, it is running, and boy, is it running well. There's a HUGE increase in mid range stomp. It just hauls compared to how it was before. Hardly surprising considering the design of the Polini Evolution the HZ replaced.

I had to cut out the battery tray and relocate all the electronics and the battery. Where I have the battery right now makes it very difficult to re & re the tank which isn't great for setting the jetting. I have a new small AGM battery and I thought I could squeeze it in under the tank but I'll have to make up a battery box and fit it inside the LH cowl.

Once that is all sorted, I'll be able to set main and what not and then see what she can really do. Time to get get "Kiss this, Doctor" stencilled to the seat of my leathers* ;-)
