Looks like rain gear will be required! We will leave sharply at 6pm from the Mac's on the corner of 61 Ave and 109 St and head to South Edmonton Common for the 6:30pm show.

I think the route we should take is from the Macs go to 111st and then go south on 111 St to 23 Ave, then take 23 Ave into South Common. We can park in front of the theatres to the right of the doors. There is a big open area where scooters and motorcycles park all the time.

Looking pretty warm out there. I think I'll wear shorts!

Movie times have changed!

Post by Paul S »

I was just checking out the movie listings and there isn't a 6:30pm anymore. It must have changed over the weekend!

The movie is at 5:50, 8:15 and 10:40 now.

Sorry for the last minute change but maybe we should meet at the Mac's location at 7:15 and then leave for the theatre by 7:25.

You can call or text me at 780-499-9077.

Thank you Paul for organizing the ride-and-movie: definitely a worthy scooter film.

Scott would be proud to see an Elite as the vehicle star of Larry Crowne. There's also a brief appearance of a shiny black Lambretta SX/ Special/or-what-have-you-with-the-funny-side-panel-flashes and plenty of Vespa vintage as well.

The best part was coming home. It wasn't raining, just a light mist that gently floated out of the air, warm and soft on the skin and delicious, as drops rolled down my cheek and into my mouth.

I would also like to announce it was my first:

- pain free scooter ride so far this year (!!!! !!!!)

- first pain free 90 minutes of sitting since January, and,

- first movie in a theatre since January as well.

I am a very lucky chap to have such good friends and a return to good health.

That's awesome John! Glad we got to share it with you. And of course happy your return to health has been swift.

I think it was warmer riding home than to the show. It was nice to get out for a decent spin! Sorry everyone missed it!
