Carrying the flag

The 2011 Toys for Tots, Marine Corps toy run, Pikes Peak edition ran today. Yours truly represented. Carrying the flag for Canada, E-town and Crude city. Patches, tshirt (eight ball rally of course, my fave) stickers and magnets on full display.

Once again, 750 bikes, 1000 orange and black "every day is halloween" types. A handful of sport bikes and 2 scooters.

The P ran like a champ despite having no brake light, tail light, turn signals or horn. Damn main fuse. It was a great day for a ride with temps at 80 + and Co Spgs PD blocking traffic at every intersection. Mad skills on their ST1300s.

Good cause. Good ride. Never knew these things existed b4 I started running with the E-town cats. Thanks.

that's awesome Brother! We have missed the last few years because it coincide's with the Calgary rally. I miss alot of it, but some I can do without. The best is when we chose our own ride but end up at the finish with everyone else.

Winter is still a ways off here. I expect to be able to commute well into november and do errand rides and fun rides pretty much throughout the winter.
